Terms of use
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Nära is operated by Spitakolus AB (reg. no. 559554-6101), Sweden. By creating an account you accept these terms. Please read them – they are deliberately short.
This is a translation for convenience. The Swedish version is the legally binding one.
Who may use Nära
- You are 18 or older.
- You are a woman. Nära is for women only – and for all women. Trans women and everyone who identifies as a woman belong here just as much.
- You use your own name or a nickname you actually go by, and pictures that show you.
- You have one account. Creating accounts for other people, or several accounts to get around a block or a suspension, is not allowed.
Zero tolerance for offensive content and behaviour
Nära has zero tolerance for offensive content and for users who behave badly. It is prohibited to post, send or request:
- Threats, harassment, stalking or hateful content – including racism, transphobia, homophobia and other discrimination.
- Sexual content, nude images or unwanted sexual advances.
- Material that depicts or promotes the sexual abuse of children. See our child safety standards.
- Violence, encouragement of self-harm or illegal content.
- Fraud, spam, advertising, chain letters or attempts to trick others out of money.
- Other people's pictures or personal data without their consent.
Reporting and blocking
You can report a user straight from her profile and from the chat, and you can block her in the same places. Blocking works both ways and immediately removes every way of getting in touch.
We review every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and accounts that break them are suspended – permanently and without warning in serious cases. Suspected crimes are reported to the police.
If you cannot report inside the app, email support@spitakolus.com.
Meeting in real life
Nära exists so that people meet in real life. We introduce you, but we cannot verify who someone is or how a meeting will go. Use your judgement: meet in a public place the first time, tell someone where you are, and leave if it feels wrong. You take part in meet-ups at your own risk.
Your content
What you write and upload is yours. You give us the right to show it in the app to the users it is intended for – nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Cost
Nära is free. Should we introduce paid features in the future we will say so in advance, and what you can do today stays free.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under My profile, or via Delete account. Your data is then permanently removed. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Personal data
How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
Liability
We do our best to keep the app working, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of faults. Our liability is limited to what follows from mandatory Swedish law. Swedish law applies to these terms.
Changes
If we make significant changes to these terms we will say so in the app. The latest version is always here.
