A lot of people feel lonely, and there is nothing strange about that – but it can change. Nära helps you find women near you who are also looking for friendship, company and someone to do things with.
Nära is for women only – and for all women. Trans women and everyone who identifies as a woman belong here just as much.
The app is available in Sweden, in Swedish and English. You choose your language under My profile.
How it works
- Create your profile Tell them what you like and what you are looking for – at your own pace.
- Discover people near you In a list or on the map – without anyone seeing where you are.
- Join activities Coffee, walks, workouts, culture – or create a meet-up of your own.
- Chat and meet Get to know each other in the app, meet up when it feels right.
Safety first
Nära is a community for women. You decide what you show and to whom – and you can hide your profile, block someone or report inappropriate behaviour at any time.
The app never reads your location. The map is based on the postcode you enter yourself and shows an approximate area – never an address, and never where you are right now.
